The story behind this pic:

Waahhh...so dull this class...*waits for histopathology lecture to begin* ooh, I know, I doodle this thingy.

*Does not concentrate on class for several minutes* Waahhh, I am so screwed, I didn't pay attention...oh well I go to prac now...oh god, it's a histopathology practical...so dull...ooh I know, I finish doodling this thingy.

*Does not concentrate on prac for several minutes* Waahhh that class went way too fast, I didn't get it all down (duh)...I'll go back and study now...

*Sits down and scribbles around* ooh, I know, I'll do a background!


And that's how it went. Please do not look at the glaring anatomical error (like Morgan's shoulder...ack, too high) since I wasn't really referencing properly and was doing this kinked at an angle on my lap while my microscope and histology slide box dominated the bench. Same as always.

I reckon apart from that, it turned out pretty alright. I started off saying well I'll have Strawcat kissing Morgan on the nose while hugging him (such a <3 pose), but then I screwed up the head and the neck and everything else so I had to adapt and change it. Now you got a non-anthropomorphic Morgan instead. Oh joy!

Head too small? Yes and no. Head size and shape varies a fair bit between breeds (even just among the light breeds), and in actual fact, were Morgan a Polish Arabian, the anatomy would be almost entirely correct (but he's not). I did make the muzzle more concave and shorter since I already did that with him in general...although as I recall I said I was going to start out anthropomorphised but then started doing his head too large and...*sigh* oh whatever. To tell you the truth the way he turned out reminded me of a shetland pony XD And the eye placement! I should have said, the eye- it's all wrong! (But the expression is right so I can't complain).
